you know what i really dont like? .. those packages calculators come in! or any kind of tight plastic crap. i cut the top part, but the edge was all sharp, so i was scared i was going to hurt myself one way or another. & from the story my teacher told us last semester of his experience, it makes me even more cautious! haha.. but yea, i got my calculator out & everything's peachy. it's just i hate the packaging. that's all.
oh! i believe in medicine now. haha..

the days have been passing by fast!
- saw may & isabelle the other night
. felt isabelle's first tooth! SO COOOL! =D!
. was utterly amused by her trick. lizard! haha.
. trip to target. *walks by price scanner* "HEY! I'M PRICELESS!" followed w/ may laughing at me. haha..
- saw michele! did the usual - talked! =)
- school! finally got ALL of my books. gee whiz!
. now i have to catch up on all the reading. .. nice.
- hung out w/ clare the day before her birthday
. cool chocolate fountain! "can we put caramel in it??" pssh!
. jalapenos for carne asada fries! didnt give us lots, but yumm! =9

right now, i'm kind of pissed about how much my books have cost. i got to borrow a book from a friend which is GREAT because it saved me approximately $100. bought my HTM book for $110 USED. wtf! bought my HR book online for half its bookstore price. $71 from $140. i need to buy my sociology book. $97 new.
also need to buy my finance book. that sucker is about $130? but my friend works at the bookstore & offered to get it for me. so it's going to be 80-100. nevermind!! yayyy!! rj has this book!! so in total, that's a little over 300? from about 500? GEEEEEZ! =(
* ok yea, i'm not allowed to be that pissed because a little over 300 isnt THAT bad. but! WHAT IF i didnt have cool friends to lend me books?! or if they all changed to new editions? freakn 500 is too freakn much! that's almost 1/3 of tuition! laaaame!anyways. a change of topic. this past weekend, while i was sick, at random times when i was online, whenever i was awake, i talked to my brother. (could that sentence have more commas?) he really wanted to go to a pennywise concert, but his friends either didnt know who they were or just didnt want to go? eh. anyways, what i'm getting at is, he ended up going by himself. half an hour before he went, he was talking to me about either going by himself or calling up a friend he didnt really like for the sake of going with someone & the fact that he had an extra ticket. when he got home, he apparently blogged about it all & i read it. haha.. i was surprised that he had THAT much fun. it was pretty cool. but of course, reading good things usually lead to thinking.
my thoughts? ... i dont really do that. do i really rely on the company of others to have a good time? ....... apparently! at least i think so more than i should. i realized i always have to have someone in order to NOT look like a loserly loner. i think i need more guts. at least for some instances. not all. haha.. i dont know. time to try something new. try to distinguish the difference between independent & dependent.
thinking on another tangent, i feel really bad for not seeing some people this semester. ESPECIALLY because my schedule is whack. i KNOW i wont be able to hang out as much either. just like last semester. heh. bleh. i was thinking earlier how the group was back in our first year & how we are now. i dont know. i'm odd, sorry! but blahblah. whatever. unfinished thought.

isabelle & may came to visit on saturday. she's so cute! haha.. but so much freakn work! after like 15 minutes, i was done. sucks! that little girl goes everywhere! haha..
we had a work meeting last night & yea. my manager was all like "so you cant work on valentines day?" blahblah.. so i was like "IF YOU WANT, i can. monday night or tuesday morning." so guess which day she gave me! TUESDAY! @ 6AM-1PM. then i have class afterward at 3-6:50. yay me.

boring boring. class is at 1. i'm in the library w/ jane, randy & nik right now. i was halfway through typing up my bio, but ehh.. writer's block. =P on my own life! haha.. i'm cool.

so.. i think i'm sick. this sucks!
i've been having random urges to throw up all day.
i reallly want to go home. but this is the 2nd meeting for this class & we're choosing groups & rawr rawr! hopefully, he doesnt lecture for too long. *crosses fingers!!*
i took a nap in my car. i dont think that's very safe. particularly when it's a lot no one really parks at & i was parked way far. ugh. but i was tired. whatever. sucks. =(

i've only had 2 classes today & they're already SO MUCH WORK! holy crap! i can see the social life (taken into consideration if i actually had one..) dimming. i wonder how the other 3 will be.
maybe.. it's not that much. maybe i'm being cranky from being at school from 8:30am-6:30pm. seriously. that's gross! BUT! i did get to see a lot of people's faces! so that was pretty exciting! but i think i'm going to see less of everyone considering my class schedule is going to suck. once it's all signed off, added & dropped, it will look like this:

i went in earlier to tell them my availability, but then after re-looking at the class schedules, they added a class i need/want to take! & it's w/ my cool teacher from last semester! gahh! the thing is - it's on TR, 5-6:50PM! (i HATE/try to AVOID night classes!) & yea, i'm scheduled to work thursday at 5:30. haha.. we'll see!

thursday : watched 'memoirs of a geisha' w/ kat. it was a very interesting movie. & a very LONG one! like every other book turned movie, they added in a part just to give it a hollywood effect. pfft. whatever! haha.. mm.. went home, took a nap, then went back out. picked up kat & headed to debb's. played cards, new games! weeeeee! =) ate yummy noodles. waited for alex. tv! stars. alex came! more laying around. haha.. we're so good at doing nothing. =D! i love the company though. good times, good times. <3
friday : my brother was supposed to hang out w/ me, but he went out w/ his friends instead. booo! errands w/ my mom. then had dinner w/ debb, warren, hanh & david at islands. "arent girls supposed to be the late ones?" killed time walking around. sugar game=hard w/ a long table! haha.. ordered onion rings, fries AND cheddar fries. haha.. waiter thought that's ALL we were going to eat. "take $2 back!" haha.. bellagio afterwards. had an "incident".. haha.. "i dont know where it is!" SUCKS! *insert embarrassment here* garden wasnt open. creepy huge non-cute moving dog! haha.. jc cafe. alex met up w/ us. boba, cards, connect 4, jenga, funn! haha..
saturday : lunch @ olive garden w/ my k & d. "she didnt ask us if we wanted more soup! we should ask for more to spite her!" haha.. talks about the future somewhat. man. i've known these girls for 5-7 years. CRAZY! i dont know. just yea! after lunch, debb hung out w/ me for a little bit. watched 'taking lives' & then she watched me pack. my mom came home & we dropped debb off. had dinner & then headed to the airport after repacking my stuff. (i did it like, 3 different times! o.O!) thought my flight would be delayed, but it wasnt. flight was crowded - bleh! KEVIN CALLED ME BACK after i was back in san diego. rawr! he was in vegas! & yea! booo! haha.. sister & isabelle picked me up. unpacking is a pain. =/

saturday : my brother made me breakfast!! = )! went to get my hair cut w/ my mom. then the two of us had dinner. aww.. so cool. =) chinatown. ughh! too many convention people! got bruce to pick me up later at night to watch a movie we ended up NOT watching. ended up going to suhseki w/ albert, johnni, billy, ashley & mindy. i got a really weird sushi roll. -.- cucumber wrap instead & twice the size of a regular one. hung out at johnni's. home early in the AM.
sunday : shopping again w/ my mom. yayy! lots of stuff! lots of it not for me! haha.. new walmart is so confusing but so much nicer! krispy kreme donuts! fresh! YUMM! scrabble! "we're lame!" haha.. debb had dinner w/ my family. then hung out w/ reno people. cards are always fun. too bad i hate losing. =) bad times when the 151 was spilled on my pants! =/ but it was cool, the guys were really nice about cleaning them! haha.. then homeward!
monday : lots of tv/movie watching! @.@ zombie like feeling! did laundry. got to talk to dickson! =) nothing nothing. sleep!
tuesday : sushi w/ debb. knit knit knit. went on a not-so-quick jamba juice run w/ the brother. haha.. "the local way home will be faster!" home 45 minutes later! sucks! dinner. then went to debbie's. i always get lost; boo! folded stars. mine are all ugly! haha.. learned a new card game! home.
wednesday : fashion show mall w/ ame. cute quicksilver guy! godiva: "hey! do you remember me?!" ..'i KNEW it was you!' haha.. lady approaching us @ the car = semi creepy. taco bell for lunch. "you know what i noticed? everyone who helped us today was super nice!" veryyy cool. nap! dinner at green valley ranch. buffet = fullness! my brother is a pro parker! hung out at ame's after; finally met aaron! haha.. home.
* my days in vegas are dwindling down & as always, i'm getting sad. but this time around, i think it's even more sad. it's going to be harder for us to be in the same place at the same time now. i dont know. just BLAH! "sad face." =((

yesterday was funn! & today was too! = )!
yesterday's plan was to hang out : movie & dinner. so debb, kat & jonson came over around 4ish to watch 'the 40 year old virgin'.. haha.. "go fuck a goat!" haha.. mm.. met up w/ david @ wingstop. yum yumm! =9 jonson is w/ me & debb on innout & their fish fries! they really DO taste like fish! rawr! back to my house to finish movie, then csi & cards! then everyone left before csi was over.
* kat got me an ugly doll! yayy! <33!!
today! was slow in the beginning, but eventful towards the end. went to fashion then ceasars. had dinner @ cheesecake factory. i had spaghetti-o's w/o the o's & debb had fetta-go! =P [not real items on the menu, if you didnt know.] walked to parking lot & back, fao schwarz, then onward to the colusseum.
celine dion's 'a new day' concert was SO GOOD!!
daaamn, she can totally perform live!! just WOW! i was so surprised at how much i enjoyed the concert! from the first song [a new day has come] to the last! [what a wonderful world (is that the title? ehh!)] it's just crazy to see how much she's already done in her life; i'd want to retire! haha.. but being there, you could tell how many fans she had & it was just WOW. awesome. it was really cool being able to see her LIVE in concert. she's sooo pretty! =)
