$350 on books this semester. not TOO bad for 5 classes.
so my classmate got the book i super needed yesterday for $60. today, it jumped up to $97. HAHA.. just.. *stab!* better than the $130 on campus, but blah! talk about BAD LUCK! =(
my brother's randomly in town for a day! haha.. o.O
& my head is just killing me. blaah!

i'm in such a bad mood. thanks to the guy at the discount bookstore telling me the books my teacher ordered werent in! (YET! i found out JUST NOW from a classmate that they WERE in!) fucker! if i bought the stupid book, i wouldve saved my black ink & paper! & wouldnt have wasted fucking 35 pages worth! anger! seeeeething!

today was so long! but there were cool points of the day!
in 444, the teacher was trying to get everyone to participate. i knew the answers, but rawr! haha.. i just dont participate! =/ but there was one part where i knew the answer & he was looking RIGHT AT ME & if i know stuff, i tend to mouth the answer. & so my teacher was all like "that's right. would you like to vocalize that, teresa?" haha.. =P
during university hour, got to see a bunch of people! got a free otter pop! yum! kinda want to buy some for myself.. haha..
for leadership, we had two exercises. the first was: who's your favorite leader of all time? past & present? you got the usuals: mother teresa, hilary clinton, oprah winfrey, mlk, fdr, adolf hitler?! hahaha.. that last one came out of freakn nowhere! but i GUESS despite the outcome of his leadership, he was a good leader.. to get all those people together & to accomplish a (albeit horrible) goal. then the second exercise was within our "established" groups. you had to write one lie & one truth & see who could trick the most people! mine were: "i've gone skydiving" & "i hate shopping." haha.. got 2 people believing each. (there are 4 people guessing.) haha.. "that's extreme! but she's probably trying to throw us off! i bet she went skydiving!" =( haha.. so funny though! "i've been to indonesia v. i drive a bmw 350i" .. "i'm a citizen of africa v. i can play the guitar" dang. they got us good! haha.. it was pretty fun! got to know people a little more. =)
got to see clare & darline for a few minutes! "just ditch!" haha.. cause it's ONLY the SECOND day. haha.. =P then hung out w/ pam. haha.. interesting talks! "crazy little girl!" adrian & jason came later on.. laughs. smiles. good mood.
then had career development. looking forward to it. =) build up my marketability & skills. only class i dont have to buy a book for = freakn AWESOME! =D!
had dinner w/ my second family. they're so fun! =)
i'm so scared for tomorrow. do you think it's possible for 32 books to sell out in 4 hours?? .. i do. =(

"how was your first day?" 'it was FUNNY!' haha..
parked in the new parking lot! =)! in the 2 classes i had today, there were no oral self introductions! all written. yay! got free lunch during "university hour" - which i'm guessing is 12-1pm. hot dog & cookies! =P got to see a lot of the friend's faces! =) i liked q's (nice, fatty hug!) & jason's (running & jumping on me!) reactions the best. haha.. aww.. so nice! =)!
OH YEA! the reason WHY my day was funny. =P so my first class was BUS444 ("strategic management in global environments"), which is known to be a super hard class. my teacher seems entertaining! haha.. so at the beginning, he had us write our names on this 8x11 blank sheet of paper. everyone thought they were for name tags that you prop up on the desk. NO! at the end, he had us go up to the front, 5 at a time, with our names written all nice & big on the piece of paper.. so he could take a picture of us! so he can know our names by next class! HAHA.. it was SO GREAT! =D!
anyways. yea. i have to start reading for 444 already. but too bad i totally bought the WRONG book! haha.. i want my $141 back! *sigh* only got 2 books for $289 earlier. suuuper sad! another trip to school tomorrow. or.. just a phone call. haha.. blaah. i'm sleepy..

no disappointments.i guess i can say, it was a pretty decent summer. but the other things i've learned: people will always let me down. people need to learn how to tell things to my face. not everyone knows that what WE talk about stay w/in US. the boys you meet in clubs=boys for the week. period.

I'M DONE, SUCKA!!
for the past four days, i've been stuck in front of the computer frantically trying to finish up 15 chapters worth of homework. 7 hours before it's due, i'm DONE! i'm FREE for the rest of SUMMER! =D!
i've only taken 3 breaks. & left the house for all three. haha.. dinner w/ adam.. lunch & lesson on gambling w/ bword.. then had to get more ink for my printer. (15 chapters x 3-4 pages each = sadface!) but gosh.. it looks so pretty! all neat & COMPLETED!! yay, i'm a nerd. =))
it's pretty bad. when i was at offie depot, i got all excited over highlighters. =P
ok. time to clean room. .. it looks like a war zone! @.@

the past is tricky like that.
this past week was quite fun. & tiring.
let's talk about the weekend first. that's always fun. =) friday night, i just hung out w/ my bword. went shopping at ross. "let me see your butt!" haha.. then the default: marketplace. jamba juice in the cold & catching up. even got to see the crazy girl! haha.. rhona came for a bit too.. so yea.. it was a chill night.
mm.. then yesterday! diana, rhona & i went to spectrum. car ride to: *guy washed front windshield* "ew, go cut him off & do the same!" haha.. "there's no sleeping in this car!" diana found her dress! but i couldnt find mine again! sadface! boob comment. haha.. sonic! "i like how she's complaining but still eating them." haha.. back to spectrum. walked around. cute pillows! "i want to hit someone w/ this!" *diana hits me!* -.- haha.. followed w/ lots of hitting! rawr! met up w/ shea, mark, john & jimmy. dave & busters! cover charge = lame! san diego's d&bs is better! =) rhona & i looking all over the game place only to find the game people playing ddr! i thought
this was really cute because i thought it looked like a penguin. but after i read what it was (its an owl), i still think its cute! haha.. =P mm.. $38. too bad, so sad!
i was reading on msn earlier & "ipods for sale!" caught my eye. rawr! a mini? for $200? or just wait til christmas time? booo! then i read other articles on how people just spend to make themselves feel good & it lasts for about a week. mm.. haha.. then i read about this lady who wore a simple brown dress for a whole year! to make a statement about consumerism & fashion i guess. pretty interesting! then i saw a part about another couple who only spent money on the necessities. (no movies, eating out, etc..) mm.. it was interesting!
i got my paycheck today. window shopping is tempting. =(

today was.. both long, yet nice. haha.. work was goodbad.. i wanted to cough over everything. but i DIDNT, no worries! i made my goal for the day, 2 hours into my 5 hour shift. =)! also got to see an old, familiar face. so that was the only good part? haha.. i was excited earlier this week because i had friday off! which i havent had in so long! but! ..i'm working now. haha.. oh well! more money next week! gotta save up for ny! =D!

i can feel myself getting sick. mm.. lovely~
the past week, i've had family over. my uncle, aunt & two little cousins from ny (who are in town until friday). then my mom, brother, sister, patrick & isabelle came over the weekend. it had its ups & downs. i loved having family in town. & the busy household. but.. i hate it because i have stuff i need to do & i dont have the time to focus. or the energy to do so. it's horrible. i feel like i'm making up excuses, which i probably am, but ehh. there's a week for me to do 15 chapters worth of homework. it's not THAT bad. it's actually do-able. because i know i have to/can do it.
i've had a lot of time to reevaluate my life the past couple of days. i realized how much i do to make others happy. i honestly feel selfish at times.. because i want my happiness. why cant i let people be disappointed in me? ... i guess it's just not in my nature.
did you know what in every 4 bottles of water, 1 of them is tap water? mm.. disgusting.
while my brother was here, he gave me season 2 of lost. it's such an intriguing show! i like it. i'm hooked. i like applying concepts of it to real life. how there's that unspoken leadership role. doing things in your best interest. having hope v. false hope. yar! good stuff! haha..
okay. gotta check on my laundry now. then maybe get medicine..
