i was looking through my box of old school stuff because i wanted to see how i made my business card back when i took commerical design in my junior year of hs. i found old assignments from when i took "introduction to business" at mchs my senior year & dang. a LOT of the stuff i learned then, or wrote down then is what i've re-learned! pssh. haha.. that was pretty interesting to see.
along the way, i stumbled upon old drawings monica made of me, carrie & her with our respective crushes. haha.. cute stuff! good memories. =)
also stumbled upon old weird poems from debbie! which is still a mystery as to if it really was from her! (i swearrr it's your handwriting!)
so i didnt find that business card i was looking for! but i found the worksheet for it. too bad i dont have illustrator. =( or paintshop. one or the other! i did however, find the montage we made. i liked that project the best out of all the other ones we did. the tkd one being a close second. yea. it's weird to see what was important to me then or what was symbolic of my life & what still is & isnt.
ya seriously.
i'm still trying to figure out which necklace that is!ahhh, i miss being semi-creative. & knowing almost all the functions on adobe & paintshop. =(

class 1-6:20. in my last class - chippendales stories! sooo jealous! i want to party w/ them! gahh.. then my teacher announced that "someone" is going to go home for the weekend which happens to be vegas for her 21st birthday! haha.. & that was followed w/ everyone trying to figure it out until i was just like "yea, its ME!" haha..
clare called me on my way home; interesting question! hahaha.. adam came over to bring me to the airport. got food first! mm.. "dont think i'm a pig, but i'm hungrrrry!" had to check in in person. "why do you think i cant print my boarding pass online?" 'maybe because youre not 21?' haha.. ew. 'i hope you have clean underwear on today!' o.O! rawr. sat & chit chatted w/ adam for awhile. my flight was kind of full & we were late in actually taking off. so boo to that.
sister came to pick me up. home. nothingness. sleep eventually!

woke up early. (twice before! thanks to isabelle. 3 & 7am!) had an eye appointment at 10. rawr. so lame! so much money! =( i wish i didnt wish i had glasses. yea. haha.. as i was paying for my contacts & the appointment, i realized i left my license in my back pocket in my pants from the day before! whooops. but i went to go visit ame at forums anyways because she wanted me to go shopping. haha.. visited her & went browsing real quick. creeep at intersection! "why isnt he going? *looks over* eww!" home!
played w/ isabelle until 12ish. amanda came over. list of places to eat! made boys choose. ended up eating at sweet tomatoes in henderson. mm YEAA. haha.. i definitely dont like souplantation. should stop going. =T but yea! sam, hanh, david & warren came! so that was cool! =) "is the ice cream good? it doesnt look like it." because i was playing w/ it. =P 'i wanted vanilla, but i didnt know which one it was, so that's why its half chocolate & half vanilla!' haha.. i'm lame! went back to their place afterwards. watched 'crash'.. left around 6. boo to traffic.
i thought dinner was going to be around 6:30, but yeaa. haha.. that didnt happen! ate at black angus around 9pm. haha.. sooo late! but sooo good! prime rib. yum! =9 full to the max! "i bet you cant find the small key on the front & the big one on the back!" "i love how you put it on the table to look! hahaha!"

sister & i went to the new casino - red rock - around 12:30. the bar was full! (it looked pretty though!) so got a drink - mudouri sour, then went to the slot machines. haha.. "i dont know what i'm doing!" "cows are my friends!" "ok.. $4.20! i'll stop now!" haha.. i'm lame. super walmart early in the morning. 'dang, youre sooo red!' suucks! home around 2am. SLEEEP! is also my friend. haha..
my mom woke me up before she went to work. = ) i love my mommy! <33!
woke up at 7:40 to hang out w/ ame. starbucks! cool words! "she looks like a duck!" 'what?!?!' "there's a." 'i dont get it!' =) fun funn for 8am! haha.. so yea. home. shower. watched the crying monster. papa johns for lunch. YUM! then said bye to everyone. =( patrick dropped me off at the airport. crowded airport! rawr! "they should make a lane for people with one bag & who KNOW where they're going!" haha.. got picked up by my 2nd madre. i love my new necklace. =) went shopping for a little bit! then i got jamba juice. (the coldbuster didnt work! & it just tastes like orange juice! =T) stopped at their house for a bit. their neighbors "it's your
21st birthday & youre celebrating with jamba juice?!" haha.. SOBER FUN!! ^.~ then went home. unpacked. uploaded vegas pictures. then sat around.
clare picked me up around 7. tgifridays. let's see if i can name everyone: jessica, jermiah & aja, katie & paul, jane, annie & chris, glenda & anton, randy & diana, marvin, diana, brandon, rhona & hoppho, jr, christa & rj, adam, shaun.. waited outside for awhile! white pear sangria! yum! "i want to be carded!" red not even halfway down! balloons were tied to me! "if they fly away, i'm going to kill a whale!" foood. mm! "finish your drink!" *drinks some* 'it doesnt look like it's going down!' haha.. CAKED! w/ whipped cream & ice cream! good job to the four girls! haha.. rawr! buttery nipple! THANKFUL i am for
EVERYTHING and
EVERYONE!!! from the phone calls, text messages, myspace comments, facebook comments, coming out to sweet tomatoes, coming out to tgifridays, the cards, the presents, just being there! it was pretty awesome. ^^* it was good going into it with no expectations because i've enjoyed it all!!

ok. whaaat the crap. the easiest thing on that list was to print out my boarding pass, but it's being ultra lame, so i dont know what to do. leave class early? skip it altogether? i'm going to be cutting it close. =(

hooray for curves! = )
remember how my group was being blah? or i was being all blah about my group? yeaa.. so we got a 5/5 on the paper/presentation! surprised he gave us that for a last minute crappy job. -.- but i've got to admit, it's pretty fucking cool because it's really hard to get a 5/5. but still.. doesnt feel earned.
got to go shopping today. = ) sooooo fun! i missed it. i wonder if i should get an AE credit card. noo.. then i'd shop there too much for my own good. =/
so, this morning.. on the radio (i WANT to say aj's playhouse..) they were saying how 1 out of 3 women do something. the first caller guessed & got it right! the answer was that 1 out of 3 women cut the tags off of their clothes when they first get them. then when the lady was explaining it.. she was saying how her mom taught her.. saying how people cant tell her what size she is.. she can make her own size. or yeaa.. you know! i thought it was interesting! never heard of it before!
kind of reminded me of the.. only i can define who i am. or yea.
got sidetracked watching music videos earlier. i went on yahoo to watch daniel powter's 'bad day' because my research paper requires me to listen to it. haha.. that & i wanted to see if i've heard it before! because it IS the #1 song right now. but yes - the video is so cute! well, i liked the part with the drawings. =) good song too.. i can see why it's #1! =P

yayy! so proud of myself! got up to 8 pages & over 2,000 words after spending 4 hours in the library! =D probably could've finished, but ehh! now i'm struggling to do it now! "dont just STOP at 2,500 words! it has to make sense!" haha..

yesterday was so much FUN!
yea! even work was fun! i got to play with chocolate & food coloring! =D! cant wait for more next week! yayy! =D!
then the adventures began with the ladies, clare & diana. traffic is NOT fun, but somehow we make it something funny & freakn random! "hi! what's your name??" EIGHT FIVE EIGHT! haha.. sonic. ran into carlo (from school!) & his friends. RANDOM! tiny banana split! the disney store. plush cafe. "look at that painting!" 'WHOA!' you stink! =( 'i dont see it in yours!' "well, i dont see in it yours either!" haha.. "i love how everyone's so trendy." pssh. 'just tune out her voice & listen to the instruments!' .. "one more song!" 'no!' *everyone gets quiet* 'did they hear me?!' hahaha! =P PARAVENTURE. "i feel tall." 'watch his face!' cute dance moves. they seriously ROCKED!! & they rocked hard! it was so awesome! gahhh!

i dont even know where this post is coming from.
what if i had taken a different route in college? it's seriously SO crazy to see people you knew back in elementary school &/or middle school & the pictures they post on facebook or myspace. it's crazy! i wonder how things happened. what it's like to be a "party" person.. what it's be like to be in a *real* sorority.. what it's like to seriously live on your own.. what it's like to seriously start in a new state/city knowing NO ONE..
what if i had stayed in las vegas? would it be the same?
what if i went to another city? how much different would i be?
i think i've played it safe, a LOT of times. even though i strayed from my comfort zone, san diego was a familiar place. i dont know. just.. could i do it? i'm still not entirely *independent*..

5:30am. heard alarm.
6:10am. time i "snoozed" til.
6:15am. decided to still go to soc.
[usually leave the house at 6:20.. so ha.]
6:25am. left house.
6:45am. hit some traffic. too many accidents. =(
7:00am. decided NOT to go to class.
[no parking by business building & was raining hard!]
7-9am. sat in dome & studied. *squish squish*
9-11am. library. people are dumb! our study rooms ARENT sound proof! this guy was on the phone kind of loud & then walks into the study room & talks LOUDER! effin loser.
why does the rain make us feel so.. calm? haha.. well, it makes me calm! & slow in everything i do! (ie: driving! studying!)
so i got to catch up w/ kat last night! =) i miss that girl! 8 years = 2 short of a DECADE! daaang. crazy! but good stuff! also got to talk to monica for a little bit the other day! must call her this week to catch up more! & i'm going to get kidnapped this weekend. =D! more catching up! aww.. so fun!
