halloween is here. that means thanksgiving & christmas will be here reallllly soon! =)
debb & i were creative this past weekend. look at the cookies we made!
they are suuuper sweet! haha.. sugar cookies & frosting made from scratch (which means a LOT of powdered sugar! =P) yayy.. i cant wait for more holiday stuff! =))

it makes me mad when people who should be thankful.. arent. they're just overly critical & it makes them seem like a jerk. i've been keeping up with the fires in san diego online & there are comments under some stories critizing everything. i cant get over how dumb people can be sometimes. i think under the circumstances, people should be sympathetic to what has happened & to those who had to evacuate & to those who did lose their homes. they should also be thankful that they are alive thanks to the law enforcement & the firefighters. even though i wasnt in san diego, i still worried about everyone.. i got scared thinking about how much closer these fires were than the other ones.. but i'm glad that for the most part, everyone's safe.
side note: it was kind of cool that progressive (i'm insured by them) emailed me to tell me that if i needed more time to pay my bill, to let them know.. because my zip code was one of the zip codes that may have been affected by the fires.
i wonder what everything looks like.. i remembered how weird it was this time last week.. how it was to see parts of san diego i knew on the news.. everywhere.. on cnn, the local news.. that was my home for 5 years & it was just crazy! bleh. =/

so my past weekend was eventful. =)
- got to see my k on thursday & friday!
. "study time is over now!"
. bingo! dobbers! "that's not orange!!" (it looks orange in the pictures too! weird. it's red.)
. dinner at islands.
- went to ny with everyone (except danny & patrick) friday to monday..
. grandparents 55th anniversary! aww! =)
* got to wear my pretty new coat! hehe.. yay!
. hung out w/ the older cousins.. pizza! "you should eat more.. they dont have this in vegas!" =P
. shopping.. spent the most time in KB toys & duane reade (a pharmacy! haha..)
. played 'deal or no deal' & 'are you smarter than a 5th grader'.. FUN stuff!
* T/F.. a person who lives in hamburg, germany is called a hamburger.
* what's the divider called in the fraction 1/4? "a backslash?!" hahaha..
* the phrase "hakuna matata" is in what language? "how is a 3rd grader supposed to know
that??"
. dim sum! yumm!
. played with my little cousins! didnt get a picture with brian! =(
. long plane rides! but the girls were pretty good both ways..

so, my past post was my 1,000th entry. haha.. awesome! so this is 1,001. =)
i feel like such a bum. =( when i think about it, i walked in may, which was 5 months ago. finished summer school in july, which was 3 months ago. so i've been doing NOTHING for the past 3 months. awesome. =(( sometimes i think about the things i should've done.. sigh..
on one hand, it IS nice to have so much free time, but at the same time too much free time makes me feel like a bum, so BOO! haha.. i'm trying to live it up now because who KNOWS when i'll have so many free days in a row again.. =/
i got to visit adam this past weekend. didnt get to go to the camel farm, but we will next time! haha.. we're lame. mm.. we didnt do lots. cause it's yuma. "you found a place worse than reno!" haha.. went shopping, had dinner with adam's coworker's family "oh pickles!" haha, watched 'good luck chuck,' ate lots of food, went down to sd for a few hours.. got to visit with kevin & his mom then eat at l&l's with clare, shaun, diana, jessica, aja, jermiah & adam. extremely!! short visit in sd.. bleeh.
OOOH! i finally got my diploma!! & it's UGLY! but i got it! i guess that's what REALLY matters, right?! pffft! i just dont understand.. WHY times new UGLY FREAKN roman! =(! darline said i should put it in a pretty frame.. then at least, it'll be pretty ugly. haha.. =P
mm.. my eyes are getting tired. time to lay down..
