sooo i disappeared over the weekend. i went to vegas last friday-tuesday. mostly hangage w/ family & some with debb, nghe, ame & brian. oatmeal cookies, bingo!, talks, sushi factory - saw chris m, red rock bowling lanes, shopping, the usual basically. haha.. =P it was just nice being home.
when i got back on tuesday, it was the get together for the june babies. (andrew, diana, jane & jermiah). saw lots of friends! it was jane, christa, myself & adam, clare & shaun, randy, rhona, nik, andrew & josie & caitlyn, diana & david.. lots of foooood! YUM YUM! haha.. fun times! crazy picture ruiner (nik!), chicken fights "it's your turn!" 'haha, NOPE!', melting meat sticks, root beer floats!, huge slices of cake, the CAKING! of jane, diana & clare (last one done by andrew because clare caked the other two & he was trying to save himself! haha..).. gooood, fun times! =)
today, or actually yesterday, i tanned & stood in a pool with my bword. now i have an ugly tan! it makes me want to cry. i want to go even it out. please k thanks!
just found out that grades for spring 2007 are posted! (unofficial transcript). if they dont change, i got all A's, SUCKA! =)
i have a lot i need to do. =(
summer school starts on monday. =(

okay. i really feel like i need to expand on my thoughts from graduation. the previous post seemed too general for my liking.
"I hope you got more than paper - like friends, experiences & all that good stuff! =)" - from sister. well, you know what? i have. i have so many good friends from my 4 years of college. i have many i want to keep in touch with. many who i hope will cross my path again later on in life. even in our first year, we learned how to categorize our friends (as horrible as it sounds, but it makes sense, i swear) - those you only see in class, those you see in class & hang out with outside of class, those you know from friend's friends, your high school group of friends, & others like that. from the first to the second year, people already left "the group" but we have learned to adjust & were happy (or at least i'd like to think so!) with whoever was left.
for my own personal experience, choosing business was the right way to go. even though it's a very general degree, i feel like i learned a lot. especially in my last semester. senior experience tied up everything nicely. i put all of what i learned from the past 3.5 years into that one semester. it makes everything relevant. it makes you feel accomplished. it makes you feel ready to take on anything in the "real" business world. as much as i complained about it in the beginning, i would tell the next group not to knock it until they've tried it. it goes back to senior experience being all about the PROCESS.
that can be tied into everything that happened in college. it's the process. you may not get it while you're learning it but another class may lead you back to that one concept & it'll make sense then. that's why we had to take all those GE classes.. the basic learning blocks to.. learning.
i know a lot of the friends here dont want me to leave, but think of it positively please. i will keep in touch but i hope you would want to keep in touch also. we are all entering the "real world" and as much as i'd like to stay & see from the front seat where we all end up.. i'll have to settle with watching from the back seat. for those who have graduated, i wish you all the best of luck! WE DID IT! 4 years ago, we were complaining about classes & contemplating on whether we should ditch or not, but here we are, on the verge of starting different paths that will hopefully lead us back to one another. for those who still have a year or two left.. YOU CAN DO IT! i have faith in you. besides, if I can do it, so can you! =)
with all of that being said, i'm going to end with my favorite quote by ralph waldo emerson: "make the most of yourself, for that is all there is of you."

it's been five days since graduation & i'm still trying to get everything in order! haha..
this past weekend was awesome! the pre-graduation bbq was great.. lots of fooood! it was basically both the families & some good friends (jane, clare, jessica, jermiah, aja, adam o).. i had a good time. watched adam get interrogated. krrr! aja's picture taking skills.. & the food! mm! =9
graduation itself was just.. indescribable. i am extremely thankful for everyone who has helped me to get to that point. & are still helping me now. even for the friends who were not able to come out to my graduation but still were somehow part of my day, i love you. it makes me feel so much more accomplished & proud to be where i'm at. with all the love & support from everyone.. it was a GREAT day. thank you! <3!
since then, i've just been resizing & JUST finished uploading all of my pictures from the weekend into my album (i have yet to steal them from other people though! =P), taking late graduation pictures, spending time with adam & other little things i have to take care of.
i just watched the season finales of grey's & lost! AHHH! i cant wait until the next season! =P i'm lame, i know. but i just wanted to update. i need to do laundry & clean now! funn!
IT'S SUMMER! more time to hang out! let's DO IT! = )

spring 2007 : DONE!
i'm excited for this weekend! tonight (including the tradeshow!), tomorrow, saturday & sunday. then.. no plans for the actual weekdays! but AHHH! this is SUCH a nice feeling! it makes me excited for july 6th (the last day of summer school).. i know i'm going to feel SO MUCH MORE accomplished. =)

seven days.
ONE week!!
i love how the whole semester i've been busy with so much i didnt even have time to enjoy my last semester. (maaaybe its because i know i'll be back for summer, but still! haha..) that & i didnt really get the chance to reflect yet on this whole college experience. time really does fly. i remember when we all used to meet at the dome during our breaks to play pusoy, eat the expensive dome food (tater tots!), write on napkins, have odd but funny conversations, etc. we were definitely the noisy crew as jessica dubbed us that first year. ahhh, the memories~
at some point in my four years at csusm, i have been close to almost everyone at one point. & would like to think i still am considered a good or close friend to them.
before i get tooooo emotional (i want to save the rest of the thought for this post after i'm done & graduated! so expect a post in late july? haha..), i need to go shower & get on with the day. one final later this week & the SE tradeshow, but other than that, i'm pretty much DONE!

so much has happened in the last 3 weeks!

my 22nd birthday. 04.21.2007 & 04.22.07
it was gooood! = )! i have awesome people in my life! <3! the saturday before my actual birthday, we went out to the yardhouse for dinner, then on broadway for clubbing. on my actual birthday day, i got the awesome present of working on my SE paper. (sarcasm, much?) but then i got to take a break & spend a couple of hours with adam.

my reno & vegas weekend. 04.26.07-04.30.07
got to see my other half! & hang out w/ her in her environment! haha.. got to see all of reno in a day. =P bear meat?!, the "real" river, tour of UNR, awful awful, peppermill, driving range! "this one's for you!", mm.. buffet?! it was suuuper nice seeing debb & other reno friends! ..but it sucked how in the back of my mind, i was still stressed about my SE stuff. (i'm lame, i know!)
so that was the first half of the weekend. the second half was spent in vegas. the biggest event of that weekend was the elmo concert i went to with the smiths! hahaha.. it was NUTS! so many little kids crazy about elmo & the rest of the sesame street crew. haha.. it was a pretty cute, but LONG concert. hung out w/ family a lot. bummed it at home for the majority. saw dana randomly. funny lunch conversation w/ mom & brother. "what if i start dating a japanese girl?" krrr! brother made lots of yummy food!! mmm!! he's more domestic than i am! suucks! haha..

the end of senior experience.
SERIOUSLY, right now, i feel SO GOOD. like a HUGEEE weight has been lifted off my shoulders! last week, we got our first version of the paper back (the one i spent my birthday writing/editing) & we got a 97/100! so this past week, the team & i have been finishing up on editing whatever our advisor made comments on & getting our presentation together. we've practiced for 4 hours on friday, 4 more on saturday, 3 on sunday, 2 on monday, then 1.5 on tuesday before our actual presentation. man, it was INTENSE. that's when i thought i was getting sick. =( but yea, our group feels pretty good about the whole project. =) we freaking rock!
